Prichard Colon is a renowned name among boxing fans and became a sensation during 2013 – 2015. He is an American-Puerto Rican former professional boxer and was reaching new heights with his every match, however, a tragic incident changed his life completely forever.

Prichard Colon is currently 31 years old, he is completely paralyzed and dealing with his post-coma phase. It was October 17, 2015, when he had a boxing match with Terrel Williams but he never knew what that fight would bring for him.
At that time his record was 16-1, he was confident enough to beat Terrel and continue his journey to be the next big name in boxing.

Boxing fans often call this day the dark day in boxing history because of several factors that you need to look at. The match between Colon and Williams was going fair and both were landing good punches.
However, the game turned brutal when Williams started hitting the back of Colon’s head. He didn’t stop until the referee interfered, went again for the same spot, and injured Colon badly.
The referee failed to stop William from hitting the back of Colon’s head and the fans started questioning the regulation of that match.
The punches were so brutal that Colon collapsed in the dressing room and his brain started bleeding, he wasn’t even able to breathe properly. He was shifted immediately to the hospital and went into a coma for the upcoming 221 days.
Now, he is recovering from the effect of brain damage and may never be able to be as active as he was once. He is paralyzed and uses a wheelchair to move.
