FBI: International, the popular hit spin-off of the long-running show FBI, recently bid farewell to one of its characters. At the finale of the show’s Season 3, one of the main characters, Scott Forrester, is given the boot from the show.
The character has been the leader of the FBI Fly Team, which battles terror threats at home and abroad. The character has many memorable moments, including the track where he deals with the grief of losing his loved ones. Fans cried and laughed with the character, and mentally stayed with him through thick and thin. Hence the sudden departure came as a shock to many of them.
Okay, so, herein comes the question!
What Really happened to Scott? Does he die?
Fans can heave a sigh of relief to this one, for the answer is a resounding ‘No’. The character, played by Luke Kleintank, got replaced as the FBI Fly team leader by a new character named Wes Mitchell. And how did that happen?
Well, according to sources, the actor wanted to take a break from the show to focus on spending more time with his family, and hence the big decision. And the exit of the character has been planned very carefully and meticulously.
The track made use of Forrester’s mother, Angela Cassidy. In the finale episode, the team flies off to rescue a woman they believe is Angela. However, later on, in the turn of events, they discover that she is an impostor. Finally, after a round of action and a rescue mission, the FBI operatives found out that Forrester and his mom were both safely tucked away in Alaska, and the team decided to keep their location a secret so as not to endanger their lives.
So that is how it ended, folks! Since Forrester has been implied to be alive and well, it is unclear whether he will be returning to the show any time in the future and whether it is Luke that will be playing the role. But I guess that we have all heard of the saying, ‘Never say never!!’
So, for the time being, let us remain with Wesley ‘Wes’ Mitchell and watch him be the leader of the Fly Team as they jet off to various other adventures all over the world.
