YouTuber Aspyn Ovard is going through some family drama at the moment, and it’s being broadcast in the public domain in full force. Her lifestyle content had her ruling YouTube, and on top of that, her 2018 collaboration with Tarte Cosmetics certainly helped to widen her reach.
Her personal life seemed perfect too, with her, her husband Parker Farris and their three daughters together. But alas, everything was not all roses and perfumes, it seems.
The third of their daughters was born in April 2024. And here comes the dark twist— followers of the social media influencer discovered that the social media star had filed for divorce from her husband in the same month that the baby was welcomed, according to the Us Magazine website.
Although Ovard stayed quiet back then, she spoke out in October 2024 and confirmed the rumors. And now, her personal life is fully out in the open after she and her former mother-in-law got embroiled in a full-blown social media war.
Yes, that’s right. Parker’s mother has started taking potshots at her former daughter-in-law on Instagram, and Ovard is having none of it. Her own feed is full of posts that seem to aggressively hit out at someone, and nobody is in doubt over who that can be.
Unresolved Issues and Ongoing Drama
In one instance, she posted a picture of a ‘Mama bear’ photo that her ex-mom-in-law had supposedly put up on her Instagram story.
The picture said ‘Mama Bear is coming out. Stay tuned.’ Ovard put up a screenshot of the offending post and wrote in response, ‘She may be Mama Bear but I am mother.’ Woah!
Not stopping here, she posted another video where she is seen straddling her ex-husband’s hips. It has the caption, ‘his mom can’t do what I can’. She also hinted that she could get him back any time she wanted.
Looks like some relationships turn really sour once you dump them. Although we don’t know what caused the split between Ovard and Parker, it seems to be something that involved his parents—or rather, his mother. And now given the fact that this whole family drama is spilling over to the public domain, we can only wait and watch what comes next!
But all through this, one thing is certain—- Ain’t nobody challenging Ovard in public without gettin’ burnt! Hear that, you haters!
