Justin Jedlica, also known as a ‘human Ken,’ is a famous social media influencer who got his fame after undergoing a number of surgeries. He is said to have spent as much as a million dollars on surgical procedures. He has worked in movies such as Dragged Off and Fool’s Paradise, and also a TV show named Doctor Odyssey.
But as we all know, that’s not what he’s famous for. No, his claim to fame is the 1000-odd surgeries he has undergone so far. He was born in New York on August 11, 1980. From an early age, he became fascinated with cosmetic surgeries.
He says, “From a young age, I was infatuated with people like Joan Rivers, Dolly Parton, and Michael Jackson, and plastic surgery was something that ticked a couple of boxes for me,” said Jedlica. “First and foremost, I grew up in sort of a lower-income family, and to me, plastic surgery was something rich people did.” He started using his mother’s eye pencils to draw alterations to his face.

Later, when his mother got a breast augmentation after her divorce, he started giving serious thought to this long-time ‘dream’ of his. He underwent rhinoplasty a few days after he turned 18. After that, there was no looking back.
He gradually got himself surgery in his pectorals, buttocks, biceps, and triceps. This chronic habit of getting surgeries landed him a reality TV show in 2022— titled ‘Men of West Hollywood’.
Is Justin Jedlica still alive?
Justin Jedlica is alive and well. He is also leading a rocking, surgery-fueled life as usual. He uploads almost daily on his Instagram account, and his last post is about working on the show Doctor Odyssey. The caption to the post reads, ‘Such an amazing experience working with @vancityjax on the new hit Ryan Murphy produced show @doctorodyssey; episode 3: “Plastic Surgery Week.” Now on @ABC and @hulu.’
Although he is known as ‘human Ken’. He finds it demeaning. “I think it kind of demeans how much effort I put into learning about the human body and learning about plastic surgery,” Justin said in a 2023 interview with DailyStar. He also takes pride in his ‘hobby’ and says that this is what he aimed for all his life.
Well, good for him, is all we can say. To each his own!
