Yellowstone costars Hassie Harrison and Ryan Bingham are now officially married!
The couple, who also play each other’s love interests in the Western drama, tied the knot at Harrison’s family home in Dallas, Texas.
Harrison and Bingham’s characters are romantically linked in the popular series, however, in real life, it was not love at first sight. Instead, Harrison gave credit to her mom, while giving an interview to Vogue.
Out of the blue, at a charity event in Dallas, Hassie’s mother met Ryan through a mutual friend. Harrison said it happened when she and Ryan were entering a new chapter of their lives. When Hassie’s mother and Ryan got to talking, they discovered they had many Texas-based friends and acquaintances in common. Sensing an opportunity, she encouraged Ryan to give Hassie a call.
Talking about the wedding, Harrison said that she and Ryan both wanted to create a day that was not just filled with a series of events but a heartfelt occasion filled with emotions, intimacy, comfort, and genuine moments with their loved ones.
Harrison wore a beautiful corseted and beaded gown by Galia Lahav while she walked down the aisle at the ceremony. Bingham chose a tuxedo by Kiton complemented with custom-made boots and a black cowboy hat.
The wedding guests were their closest friends and family, including Bingham’s three children and Harrison’s three sisters, who served as ring bearers and flower girls, along with their dog.
Harrison and Bingham began dating in 2023, and once it was clear their relationship was getting serious, they decided to get married. The proposal happened twice!
The first time was during a normal evening at their home. Harrison says, she could see Ryan had been “unusually quiet all night” and “was visibly nervous,” which was out of his character.
Suddenly, he broke the silence and asked Harrison if he would propose to her for marriage only if she said yes. Hassie says she did not hesitate a second before saying she would marry him. “It is true what they say. When you know, you just know,” Harrison told Vogue.
But Harrison didn’t know that Ryan had secretly called her father afterward to ask for his blessing. After that, he surprised Harrison at a later date with a more formal proposal over wine, his famous steak dinner, and, of course, a ring.
Since that moment, the couple has been planning their wedding. They wanted the ceremony and the reception at Harrison’s family home in Dallas. The couple wanted a more private and intimate wedding, reflecting their shared Texan roots.
Harrison says the only word that could describe the ceremony was, ‘surreal.’ She said she could feel a palpable sense of love and energy in the air—a kind of magic that is hard to describe.
Harrison further told Vogue that it was genuinely one of those serendipitous moments that make you realize life has a way of bringing people together at the right place and the correct time.
